Rev. I. Asir began his earthly journey on 11th January 1950 when he was born into a conservative Christian family, in a small village in Tirunelvi district of Tamil Nadu. At the age of 15 he committed his life to Jesus and in the year 1970 he obeyed God’s call for full time ministry and joined A.G. Tamil Nadu Bible College, to equip himself for the same.
In December 1974, God blessed him with a good life partner Daisy, a woman of prayer, vision & faith. In the year 1979 as an answer to God’s calling, they came to Pondicherry amidst a lot of adversities, and started a church in a rented house.
Hallelujah Assembly of God Church is located at the heart of the Union Territory of Pondicherry, India. We strive to give every man, woman and child the opportunity to understand the gospel and to provide a church where they can grow for the glory of God.
